As the Director of Training for Soccer Xperience it is my responsibility to assure that coaches are following our Soccer Xperience philosophy. This philosophy is centered on the players and on how players learn, develop, and understand the game. We base that on their own creativity. Soccer Xperience embraces this method as it gives individual ownership to the player. From our experience, when you give a player ownership of a thought, idea or practical execution of a skill, they are more motivated to carry it through to the end. Thus by guiding their creativity, players can be coerced into making logical decisions. Allowing them to remain calmer and at an optimal state to work their way out of trouble. You must teach your team to play hard, no matter whom the opponents are, because you're setting your own standards, playing toward goals you want the team and each player to achieve.
This philosophy is guided by objectives:
- Assure learning
- Improve individual ball control
- Improve player’s soccer knowledge
- Have a team concept

For a player to succeed and achieve their goals in soccer they need to
have heart, determination and desire. A passion for soccer was instilled
in me at an early age. I grew up watching and playing the sport
due to it's popularity in my native country England. I have a great
passion for the game and I now want to share
my enthusiasm and love for the game with all the players I come into
contact with.
I grew up playing soccer in Nottingham England, as a left defender playing up to a high level.
I started my coaching career in England at the centre of excellence for Nottingham Forest, training players within the local community. Our aim was to develop their individual skills, where eventually they could play for the Nottingham Forest Academy. Advancing my knowledge brought me across to America where I continue to train individual players and teams.
My coaching knowledge ranges from U4 where the whole emphasis is fun to U19 where the players have the technical skills and now need to learn tactical awareness about team shape and formations.
